Art & Talk Therapy for Adults and Teens
New York & Connecticut / Online
You’re feeling stuck…
You keep dating the same person over and over again.
You have no sense of self.
Your anxiety, depression, and stress are constantly in the driver’s seat.
Your habits frequently leave you feeling guilty.
You want change but…
You have no idea where to start.
Talking about it feels overwhelming.
You are out of ways to problem solve on your own.
Introducing
Art Psychotherapy
Art psychotherapy (aka Art Therapy) is a therapeutic approach that uses art, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to promote self-expression, curiosity, playfulness, growth, and insight while lowering defenses; especially around navigating challenging life blocks.
You do not have to be an artist or have previous creative experience to benefit from art psychotherapy. If you are someone who struggles to verbalize or add language to your internal emotional world, art psychotherapy may be a great fit for you. I also offer talk therapy and together we can find what approach/balance works best for you.
Are you ready to recreate your life?

Hi, I’m Rumi.
Hello! I'm Rumi. Welcome to Playful Pigment Psychotherapy, a virtual psychotherapy practice serving adults and teens in the states of New York and Connecticut.
I aim to connect/reconnect people to their creative selves, provide support with navigating life challenges, and share how therapeutic art-making can be used as a tool to promote and maintain well-being. I offer both Art therapy and talk therapy.
